(SEYMOUR) - Officials with Seymour Moose Lodge 418 recently announced the names of its scholarship winners for this year.
They are:
Savannah Todd, a senior at Brownstown Central High School, who plans to attend college this fall to pursue a degree in zoology. Todd was sponsored by her mother and lodge member Tobi Todd.
Kelcie Slone, a senior at Seymour High School, who plans to attend University of Louisville to pursue a law degree. Slone was sponsored by lodge member Catherine Luedeman.
Allison Adams, a senior at Avon High School, who plans to attend Milwaukee School of Engineering this fall. Adams was sponsored by her father and lodge member Rob Adams.
Lindsey Wetzel, a senior at Seymour High School, who is planning to attend Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis or Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus to pursue a degree in nursing. Wetzel is sponsored by her mother, Cheryl Wetzel.
To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and must obtain a grade point of 2.5 or higher during the first grading period in the college, university, trade school or technical school they attend. They also must write a short autobiography with information about their past activities inside and outside of high school, their long-term goals and their achievements.
Sponsors must be a parent or grandparent in good standing with Seymour Moose Lodge 418 or Seymour chapter 1733.
