(BEDFORD) - A Shoals woman was injured after she lost control of her vehicle at the intersection of Beech Street and John Williams Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police reports, 19-year-old Violet Wright of Shoals was traveling north on Beech Street when she got her 2001 Ford Explorer too close to the curb and then over corrected and began to slide sideways. The vehicle then got traction causing it to overturn.
Wright, was wearing her seat belt, but her window was down and when the vehicle landed on its side it caused her to hit her head on the pavement.
Wright suffered minor bleeding to her head and was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
