(PAOLI) - On Tuesday, June 4, the Area II 4-H Teen Council will present the 2013 Southern Indiana Youth Leadership Forum, Operation: Citizenship.
The goal for the forum is to provide high-profile examples that demonstrate the power of leadership, citizenship, and character to aspiring Indiana youth leaders.
This year's forum highlights the elements of citizenship.
The keynote address will be given by Miss America 2009, Katie Stam-Irk. In addition to the keynote, there are three breakout workshops that will include such topics as Coping and Preventing Bullying, International involvement, our Global Connection, and Citizenship in Action.
The forum is open to all teens in Southern Indiana regardless of 4-H affiliation.
The event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at the Orange County Community Center in Paoli.
The cost is $15 and includes lunch and a t-shirt.
There will also be an adult track for chaperones.
