(BEDFORD) - Sunday is the last day for the flushing of fire hydrants for the City of Bedford.
It is subject to change due to weather conditions.
Misty Adams, Utilities Director advises customers to be cautious on or about these days as the water can be muddy/rusty and will be harmful to laundry as far as staining. If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run for a short while and it should clear up.
On Sunday hrydrants will be flushed at 16th and P street East, 17th Street South to 39th Street, West of M Street., Eastlake Drive., Crawford Addition, Brook Knoll and Saddle Barn Addition
Reminder if the weather is bad the flushing will be cancelled.
