(SOLSBERRY) - 16-year-old Jama Thomas, of Solsberry, flipped her car as she tried to avoid a crash with an unknown vehicle that had turned into the pather of ther 1996 Toyota Camry Friday night.
According to Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Brown the accident happened on State Rod 43 and McVille Road.
Brown says Thomas was traveling north on the highway near the intersection when an unknown vehicle entered her lane of traffic onto McVille Road. Thomas swerved to avoid a head-on collision and ran off the roadway flipping her car over onto its hood. A witness sitting on a near-by porch verified Thomas' story.
Thomas suffered minor cuts and bruises and complained of dizziness.
The Eastern Fire Department and the Greene County Ambulance Service also responded to assist on the scene.
