(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Fifth and J streets Thursday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 64-year-old Mark Taylor, of Bedford, was stopped in his 1995 Buick Park Avenue and facing west on Fifth Street, waiting for a vehicle to turn left. The then continued to headed west when his car was rear-ended by a 2005 Chevrolet Impala LS driven by 22-year-old Kyler Smale, of Springville.
Smale told police he took his eyes off the road to look at a men mowing, when he looked back he saw Taylor's car stopped, but he could not stop in time to avoid the collision.
Taylor and his passenger 16-year-old Jordan Reed, of Bedford, both complained of neck pain.
