(WASHINGTON) - In spite of rainy and cool conditions, the North Daviess Schools Relay for Life team raised $550 and Friends for Animals, a not for profit charity operated by volunteers to help dogs and cats in the area, raised $1,700 during Bark for Life Saturday.
"Friends for Animals and North Daviess Relay for Life are both incredibly thankful for all the support area businesses and community members have shown us.
This event would not have been possible without the generosity of the entire community," said Monika Glade, coordinator of the first year event.
