(WASHINGTON) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a Wednesday evening ATV crash which left a Washington man injured.
19-year-old Mitchell Bath, was riding a Yamaha Raptor 660 in a field in southeastern Daviess County and was attempting to jump over a hill, when the ATV landed in a way in which Bath was thrown over the front of the handlebars. The ATV then struck Bath in the back, before coming to rest on its side.
Bath was able to return to where friends were located, and they took him to Jasper Memorial Hospital in a personal vehicle.
Bath was treated for abrasions to his legs and back injuries. He was later transported to St Mary's Hospital in Evansville for further treatment.
