Bloomington Couple Injured After Deck Collapses

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington couple was treated for minor injuries after the second-story deck they were standing on collapsed Sunday morning.

According to Bloomington Fire Department Capt. Tania Daffron, first responders were called to the 2100 block of East Wimbleton Lane at 3:34 p.m.

There they found a husband and wife had fallen about 12 feet when the deck collapsed.

They were treated for minor injuries.

Daffron says no one was under the deck when it collapsed.
