(BLOOMINGTON) - Therapist Matthew Lucas, MS, LMFT, who specializes in treating children, adolescents and families, is now offering group counseling for adolescents.
The groups will help teens struggling with anxiety, anger, defiance, substance abuse and depression.
The eight-week program will focus on Positive Psychology interventions, employing a strengths-based therapeutic approach to help group members overcome repetitive, self-defeating behaviors.
Lucas earned his masters degree in counseling, with an emphasis on marriage, family and child therapy in Sacramento, California. He is also licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of Indiana.
