(BEDFORD) - BNL’s Starstrong raises awareness and funds for groups that support cancer patients and cancer research.
This year's Starstrong group had several fundraisers, including their annual Donut-a-Thon 5K For a Cure, Little Debbie Days, and two school dances.
This spring, Starstrong purchased and delivered $1,500 worth of toys, games, and crafts to Riley Hospital for Children.
They also donated $2,000 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and $2,000 to Cookies for Kids' Cancer, which funds pediatric cancer research.
