(FREEDOM) - The body of a woman found by fishermen in the White River in Owen County has been identified as a Bloomington mother of five children ranging in age from 9 to 2.
The Herald-Times reports the body of 27-year-old Jessica Hope Thacker was spotted in the White River in Freedom, about 20 miles west of Bloomington, on Wednesday.
Owen County Sheriff's Lt. William Snodgrass said her death remains under investigation.
Owen County Coroner Stan Frank says an autopsy shows the woman died from drowning.
