(UNIONTOWN) - A Seymour and Crothersville resident was arrested Sunday afternoon, after Indiana State Trooper Randel Miller discovered drugs in their vehicle during a traffic stop.
Just before 3 p.m. Trooper Miller stopped a 2000 Honda on State Road 250 near Uniontown.
During that stop Senior Trooper Stephen Wheeles and his K-9 partner Kane walked around the vehicle and Kane alerted officers that there were drugs in the car.
After a search, police found seven individual bags of crystal meth, 25 Kolonipin pills, three Xanax pills, a meth smoking pipe, and three Hydrocodone pills.
The driver, 53-year- old Carl Clark of Seymour was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal. His passenger, 37-year- old Heather Scott, of Crothersville was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
A 12-year-old male passenger was released to his adult brother.
Both Clark and Scott were taken to the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown where they are being held without bail.
