(BEDFORD) - This year’s panel of judges for the BBQ at the Quarry, slated for June 28 and 29 on the downtown square, boasts an even mix of veterans and rookies.
Bedford Mayor Shawna Girgis, Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley and Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey are the seasoned judges. Joining the team will be Lawrence County Superior Court II Judge Bill Sleva, Lawrence County Commissioner Bill Spreen and Times-Mail Photographer Garet Cobb.
And if you are not a BBQ fan, on July 3 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will be the Rotary's annual fish fry and silent auction held at the Thornton Park Pavilion.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12. You can purchase tickets at the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, Group One or Copy Trolley.
