(PATOKA) - Join the naturalists for a behind the scenes view of the necessary care we provide for the red-tailed hawk and eastern screech owl on Sunday at 1 p.m.
See how Patoka staff must care for these birds of prey.
Watch the staff as they change the birds' jesses and trim their beaks and talons. Discover what it takes to keep these birds healthy and ready for programs.
There is a $5/person fee.
Preregistration is required by calling the Patoka Lake Visitor Center at (812) 685-2447.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents ($7 out of state) is required for the Newton Stewart State Recreation area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164.
