(BLOOMINGTON) - A Michigan man charged in 2010 with multiple counts of selling narcotics to police informants has been sent off to serve a lengthy prison term after pleading guilty in Monroe Circuit Court to one count of dealing heroin.
Shawn Martez McCullough received a 30-year prison term with five years suspended.
After his first Bloomington arrest for selling cocaine, McCullough paid a bail bondsman $20,000 cash to get released from jail. He was later arrested again for the same thing.
He pleaded guilty two days before his trial was to begin, after having a series of five lawyers represent him over the course of three years.
