(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was injured after he got into a fight and was hit with a baseball bat Tuesday afternoon.
According to Mitchell Police, officers were called to McDonald's at 3 p.m. after a report of a fight between two men behind the restaurant.
When police arrived they found a 23-year-old Mitchell man bleeding from his head. The man suffered a large cut about his eye after being hit with a baseball bat.
The man was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
Police arrested 51-year-old Robert Lane, of Martinsville, on a felony charge of battery causing serious bodily injury.
