(HENDRICKSVILLE) - The owner of a Greene County diner who has served locals and celebrities is handing over her apron after 25 years.
Rose Bastin will do her last stint as the cook at Rose's Diner in Hendricksville on Saturday. She's handing over the diner to a Solsberry couple.
The Herald-Times reports Bastin's diner has served former Indiana University basketball coach Bob Knight and former Gov. Mitch Daniels. She says Knight is partial to peach or cherry pie, while Daniels prefers butterscotch.
Bastin says she plans to still see her regular customers. She expects to visit the diner for breakfast now and then.
