(SALEM) - A Washington County man was arrested on numerous felony charges on the manufacturing of meth.
Police say Jeremy Buis was using anhydrous to make the drug.
When officers served a search warrant at the Buis home in the 5000 block of West Walnut Ridge Road., they found anhydrous ammonia tanks in a wooded area behind the home and other items used in the making of meth in the garage.
The Leader Democrat reports, Buis was not home at the time but was arrested later on a warrant.
Officers say CPS was notified because a 12-year-old child lives in the home.
Buis faces felony charges of dealing meth, along with possession of meth, possession of chemical agent, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture and dumping contaminated substance waste.
He also faces misdemeanor charges of improper storage of anhydrous ammonia and possession of paraphernalia.
