(UNDATED) - Three people were arrested after police say they went on a crime spree Wednesday.
Police arrested 32-year-old Dustin Watts and 23-year-old Amanda Pierce, both of Jasonville, and Brandy Mattox, who told police she was homeless.
According to the Greene County Daily World all three were charged with burglary, theft and auto theft.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Sullivan Superior Court the trio burglarized the Sun Mart convenience store in Shelburn early Wednesday morning. Sullivan County Deputy Sheriff Jerry Mize says surveillance video showed the trio break a window on the west side of the building and then enter.
While Sullivan county police were investigating the break-in they received a call l from the Jasonville Police Department saying Mattox and had confessed to the crime and implicated Watts and Pierce.
Mattox told police Watts and Pierce went to a home in Shelburn and stole a red sports car, that had a wallet that contained $18, then drove back to burglarize the convenience mart.
After the burglary, the trio allegedly drove to Carlisle to buy gasoline and then went to Vincennes to buy beer, but changed their mind. They allegedly drove to Elnora to buy more gasoline, but the car ran out of gas before they arrived.
Mattox told police that is when Watts took off walking to find gas, but instead returned with a van that he had allegedly stolen.
The three then drove to Coalmont to Watts' mother's mobile home, where Pierce and Watts got out.
Mattox then drove the van from the home with the intention to 'ditch it', however, she parked the vehicle in the driveway of Jasonville Police Department Officer, walked in and turned herself into authorities.
All three remain in the Sullivan County Jail.
