(WASHINGTON) - An Indianapolis woman was arrested in Washington Tuesday morning after police received a call that a woman was in an abandoned house on Blockade Street and hanging around the car wash.
When officers arrived they found 38-year-old Shonda Scheiber.
She attempted to run from police but was apprehended a short distance away.
Schieber then gave officers a fake name, but they soon discovered she was wanted on a warrant in Johnson County for failure to appear on a theft charge.
Scheiber was arrested and charged with resisting arrest by fleeing and false informing.
