(BLOOMINGTON) - 47-year old Michael Krznar, of Bloomington was arrested Thursday after he got into a fight with his wife over his sobriety.
According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider, Krznar was arrested after his 35-year-old wife was taken to the hospital.
Krznar was charged with strangulation, domestic battery and public intoxication.
He is accused of arguing with his wife at the intersection of Kirkwood Avenue and Walnut Street Thursday night and then strangling her.
Police were called after a third party witnessed Krznar choking his wife.
The wife told police she had confronted her husband about his drinking and that is when the fight started.
