(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating a robbery that happened in the 3100 block South Walnut Street Pike, early Wednesday morning.
According to police, just after 2 a.m., a 22-year-old man had left a friend's home with another, who he didn't know by name and the two started to walk to a convenience store to purchase cigarettes.
The 22-year-old man reported the man grabbed him, choked him and demanded his money.
The suspect was described to police as white, in his 30s, with a goatee and tattoos on his arms, wearing a red shirt and red shorts.
Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
