Body Of Man Found Near Railroad Tracks In Brown County

(HELMSBURG) - Police are not releasing the name of a man whose body was found near train tracks in Brown County.

A passer-by called Brown County police at 3:55 p.m. to report that a person was lying about 100 feet off the road and was not responding.

The body of a man in his late 20s to early 30s was found in the area of Indian Hill Road and State Road 45 near Helmsburg.

Police believe they know who the man is, but have not been able to reach his family. It's not yet clear if he was hit by a train.
