(LINTON) - Clean-up and damage assessment continue today in Linton where numerous homes were damaged by Saturday’s flash flood caused by about six-inches of rainfall in one-hour
Flood clean-up kits are available at the Linton Fire Station and homeowners can report damage by dialing 211
Greene County Emergency Director Roger Axe reports the county is working with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to see if the county can get assistance.
The American Red Cross is also offering assistance.
David Neal of the Greene County Red Cross asked that anyone requiring assistance recovering from flooding contact him at 812-798-6012.
Neal will then evaluate whether flood clean-up kits or other assistance will be appropriate.
