(BROWNSTOWN) - A drug court under consideration by the circuit court judge could eventually help ease crowding at the jail, Jackson County officials said.

The discussions arose during a report commissioners received from representatives with Centerstone, a non-profit provider of community-based mental health care and substance abuse treatment.
