(BLOOMINGTON) - 21-year-old Bradley Roby, an Ohio State football player, was arrested and charged with battery after he tried to start a fight at Kilroy’s Dunnkirk Bar, on East Kirkwood Avenue.
Police went to the bar at 2:40 a.m. Sunday. There they found Roby detained by private security officers hired by the bar.
Staff, bar patrons and security officers told police Roby was inside the bar and attempted to start a fight with someone.
Bar security kicked him out.
But Roby then tried to re-enter the bar to locate his friends.
Security officers refused to let him back into the bar and that is when police say Roby hit one of the security guards in the chest and wrestled him to the ground and detained him until officers could arrive.
