(BEDFORD) - A moped rider suffered multiple injuries in a wreck Friday.
According to a Bedford Police report, 67-year-old Anthony Nickless, of 115 M St., Apt. 5, suffered a deep laceration to his forearm.
Police say Nickless was riding his 1008 ZRX moped Friday morning and was turning from a driveway onto westbound 16th Street, near B Street Nickless had pulled over to let a car pass and then attempted to pull onto the roadway. That is when he drove into a path of a westbound 2013 chevrolet Equinox driven by 29-year-old Heidi Wagner, of 311 Glenview Drive.
Nickless also suffered injuries to his face, legs and arms. Nickless refused treatment at the scene or to be taken to the hospital. Wagner was not injured.
