According to Mitchell Police, 27-year-old Jayce Hughes, of 1516 Rabbitsville Rd., was traveling on Ind. 37 and that is when a Mitchell police officer attempted to stop Hughes for a traffic violation.
Hughes refused to stop his vehicle and police continued to follow Hughes who continued to travel north on Ind. 37 passing local resturants. That is when the officer requested backup because Hughes began to pick up speed and still refused to pull over.
