Orange County Fair Schedule

(PAOLI) - The Orange County 4-H Fair is under way in Paoli.

Fair activities are planned through Friday.

Among highlights are:

Today

• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Senior Citizens Day, commercial building. Sponsored by Hoosier Uplands/Area 15 Agency on Aging with Southern Indiana Independent Living Center. The event will feature bingo and door prizes. Participants must be at least 50 years old. Admission is free and lunch will be provided. Call Hoosier Uplands at 849-4457 or (800) 333-2451 before the end of the day on Tuesday to register for lunch or participate in events.


• Noon: Euchre tourney, shelter area


• 5:30 p.m.: Sheep shows begin in the barn area


• 6:30 p.m.: Check-in begins for the ugly fruit and vegetable contest in the community center, with contest to follow at 7 p.m.

Thursday

• 10 a.m.: Mud volleyball, outdoor arena


• 3:30 p.m.: Dress up your animal contest, barn arena


• 4:30 p.m.: Open quilt show registration in the community center, with judging to follow at 5:30 p.m.


• 5 p.m: Tractor pedal pull, at the track


• 6 p.m. 4-H beef show, barn area


• 6 p.m.: Registration for WUME lip sync contest, with the contest to follow at 7 p.m.

Friday

• 10:30 a.m. 4-H livestock auction, with a kiss the pig contest to take place right before the swine auction


• 6 p.m. Cookout and 4-H Olympics, horse arena
