(WASHINGTON CO.) - A Pekin woman was injured after she crashed the ATV she was driving Sunday.
Indiana Conservation Officer are investigating the accident that happened at 4 p.m. on Pumpkin Center Road in rural Washington County.
According to Indiana Conservation Officers Jeffrey Milner 47-year-old Sharon Dillon was attempting to climb a hill when the ATV flipped over landing on her.
Dillon suffered an injury to her arm and was taken by ambulance to the University of Louisville Hospital.
Assisting in the accident were Gibson Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Washington County Ambulance Service.
Dillon was not wearing protective gear at the time of the accident. Indiana Conservation Officers would like to remind all riders to wear protective gear.
