Police Investigating Burglary Find Meth Lab

(PAOLI) - Four people were arrested after police investigated a July 4 burglary that led to the discovery of a methamphetamine lab.

According to a police reports, the Orange County Sheriff's Department was alerted to the crime when a property owner saw people at one of her rental properties on State Road 56 near Limeberry Road that did not belong there.

The property owner tried to stop the people, but they left in two vehicles and each traveling in opposite directions. The property owner then chased one of the vehicles onto Limeberry Road, but lost sight of them.

Paoli Police was able to find a suspect and during the investigation, law enforcement was able to locate the other individuals involved.

While executing warrants, a meth lab was discovered at a home at 819 South County Road 300 East.

Police arrested 33-year-old Brian Campbell, 23-year-old Lucas Yoder, 38-year-old Emily Underhill, and 20-year-old Kaitlyn Kemple all of Paoli.

The four arrested allegedly broke into vacant or abandoned homes that still had antiques, furniture and other valuables inside and would take anything valuable that could be sold.

Josh Babcock of the OC Sheriffs Department, says the case is still under investigation and and additional charges against the individuals could be filed in the future. He added additional arrest are pending.
