(SHOALS) - A semi driver was not injured after he flipped his semi-tractor trailer on U.S. 150 west of Panhandle Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to Martin County Sgt. Keith Keller, officers were called to the scene at 1:45 p.m.
Keller says the driver, Larry Snyder lost control of the 2007 Levitts Frieght Service Inc. Freightliner after the vehicle's brakes failed and because he was traveling too fast on wet roads.
The semi went off the south side of the road and rolled onto the left side and then slid down an embankment hitting three state highway signs before stopping.
