(UNDATED) - Several local government offices will be closed or have altered schedules due the July 4th holiday.
The Lawrence County Courthouse offices will be closed Thursday and will reopen for normal hours on Friday.
All Bedford city offices will be closed Thursday and will reopen Friday morning, and trash collection routes that normally run on Thursdays will run on Saturday this week.
Mitchell city offices will be closed Thursday and will reopen Friday morning. Trash collection for the north side of the city will be taking place today.
The Oolitic Town Hall and clerk-treasurer's office will be closed Thursday for the holiday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday. Trash pickup for Oolitic will take place today.
