Some Mitchell Residents Under Boil Order

(MITCHELL) - Water customers of Mitchell Utilities are under a precautionary boil order after a water main broke late Wednesday night.

The order, which is standard procedure when repairing water line breaks, will remain in effect until further notice.

This order affects customers on West Brook St. from 6th Street to 14th Street.

According to the water utility, customers should:

* Bring all water to a boil and let it boil vigorously for two minutes. Let it cool before using.

* Or use bottled water while the order is in effect.

Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for all food preparation, drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables or washing dishes.

Customers with questions should call the water department at 849-4168.
