(UNDATED) - The Ford F-250 seems to be the new favorite target of thieves.
According to a new report by the Highway Loss Data Institute, the F-250 has replaced General Motor's Cadillac Escalade as the most targeted vehicle.
The Escalade had led the institute's ranking of vehicles with the highest rates of insurance claims for theft since 2003, but dropped all the way to sixth this year.
The F-250 topped this year's list and officials say it has a claim frequency of nearly six-times the average for all vehicles.
