(ORLEANS) - Two Orleans residents were injured after a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon.
According to Indiana State Police Trooper Mike Allen, 58-year-old Jack L. Taylor, 58, was driving his 2009 Yamaha motorcycle west on Driving Range Road near County Road 310 North when a deer ran into his path.
The 2009 Yamaha collided with the deer.
Jack, along with his wife and passenger 53-year-old Jeanette Taylor, 53, both were injured.
Jack was air-lifted to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Jeanette was taken to IU Hospital in Paoli where she was treated and released. Jack was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, however Jeanette was.
