(PALESTINE, IL.) - Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force arrested a Washington, Indiana man at a Palestine, Illinois home Wednesday on a Daviess County warrant for strangulation.
Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing says when authorities entered the home, 36-year-old Ayron Miller tried to punch a police dog and was bitten on his left arm and leg.
A second person, 34-year-old Christina Clark, of Monroe City, Indiana was arrested for obstructing justice.
She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court for failure to report an accident.
