(FRENCH LICK) - Vice President Valerie Wilkins of Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company has been named commercial banker, with lending responsibilities primarily in Orange County.
Wilkins will also retain the team leadership role for the retail lenders.
With more than 25 years of banking experience in lending and retail sales, Wilkins brings extensive knowledge to the commercial side of the bank. Wilkins' office is in the French Lick Banking Center.
"For over 15 years of her banking career, Valerie has been an asset to Springs Valley Bank," said Jamie Shinabarger, president and CEO. "Her knowledge of the various areas of the bank will prove to be very beneficial to the Valley and the business community."

Wilkins earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University Southeast and continued her education at the Graduate School of Banking and Commercial Lending School. She also serves on the board for the Lincoln Hills Development Corporation and Friends of Southern Hills.
Wilkins and her husband Darren have twin sons, Laine and Joel.
