(MITCHELL) - Janet E. Wigley, 52, of Mitchell was taken to a hospital Sunday because she was suffering from chest pains after wrecking her truck Sunday morning.
Wigley drove off the right side of U.S. 50 West near Watson Merry Road at 10:28 a.m. and crashed into a ditch, turning the vehicle on its side, according to a Lawrence County Police Department accident report.
"(Wigley) stated she did not remember the crash and was not sure what happened," the document stated. She was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to a hospital by a private vehicle following the crash.
The 2002 Ford Ranger Wigley was driving sustained approximately $5,000-$10,000 worth of estimated damage in the crash, according to the accident report.
