(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon near the intersection of 16th and Beech streets.
According to a Bedford Police report, 16-year-old Dorothy Timan was attempting to pull her 2005 Ford Freestyle out of the parking lot of JayC Plus and make a left turn when she pulled into the path of a 2010 Hyundai Sonata GL driven by 23-year-old Kortney Baker.
Timan told police she looked both ways but didn't see the vehicle approaching. Baker told police she moved to the center lane in an attempt to avoid the collision but was unable to.
Timan and Baker were not injured. But Baker's passenger 22-year-old Travis Schultz complained of neck pain at the time of the incident.
