(BEDFORD) - A Bedford teen was injured after another vehicle sideswipped his vehicle and then fled the scene.
According to Lawrence County Police, 16-year-old Jacob Brazzel, of Bedford, was traveling west on Leatherwood Road, just west of Rolling Meadows Road and was at a narrow area of the roadway when another vehicle was on his side of the roadway.
A white Chevrolet Dulley sideswipped Brazzel's 1991 Chevrolet truck which caused Brazzel's truck to hydroplane off the north side of the road into a ditch and along a fence.
Brazzel told police the other vehicle did not stop.
According to a witness who was traveling in front of Brazzel, they also had to get off the roadway because the truck was traveling in their lane of travel.
Brazzel complained of shoulder pain following the incident.
