(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after police received an anonymous phone call about a possible meth lab inside an apartment on Ted Jones Drive Monday.
Police arrested 31-year-old Amanda Stahl, of, 2901 Ted Jones Dr., Apt. D, on two counts of battery on a police officer, two charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and on a Greene County warrant for failure to appear.
According to Bedford Police Assistant Chief Joe DeWees Stahls became physical with officers when she learned she was wanted on a warrant.
"Our officers arrived and smelled the odor and knocked on her door," DeWees says. "A man opened the door and officers saw Miss. Stahls, who was wanted on a warrant. She resisted and had to be physically put in handcuffs."
Offices did not find any evidence of a meth lab and the man was not arrested.
