(HELTONVILLE) - A Bedford woman was arrested after police found a meth lab Thursday afternoon.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, the meth lab was discovered after police went to a home on Roberts Lane in Heltonville to look for a man wanted on a warrant.
"When officers arrived the man wanted fled on foot and officers were not able to locate him," Craig says. "But there was a woman at the home and she was arrested after police found a meth lab in the backyard."
19-year-old Sarah Myers, of 78 S. Hill Drive, was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture.
"The ISP Clandestine Team was called to the scene to dispose of the lab," Craig says.
