(NEEDMORE) - Salt Creek Brewery is brewing up a full weekend of entertainment in Needmore.
Tonight, King Bee and the Stingers, Pass the Peas, Dame's Rocket, Soul Stricken, and Fistful of Bacon perform beginning at 6 p.m.
Then, at 2 p.m. Saturday in the field behind the brewery, the inaugural Bedford Blue & Brews fest features the music of Jon Strahl Band at 3:30 p.m., Travis Feaster at 5 p.m., Kilborn Alley at 6:30 p.m., the BBB Blue Star Band at 8 p.m. and Sad Sam Blues Jam wrapping up the event at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets for Saturday's fest are $10 in advance or $12 the day of the show.
Proceeds benefit Blue Star Connection, a non-profit organization designed to provide musical therapy by gifting musical instruments to children and young adults battling cancer and other life-challenging circumstances.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Gearheads Grille will be open in the brewery, and refreshments also will be available in the beer garden. No coolers permitted.
