(NASHVILLE) - A Brown County man was arrested Thursday after allegedly trying to attack people with a baseball bat.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department says the incident unfolded just before 6 p.m. at an address on Hoover Road in Nashville. Deputies responded to a call of a male that was destroying property with a baseball bat.
When they arrived, deputies spoke with two witnesses, who told them that 27-year-old Charles W. Albertson, Jr. of Nashville had swung a baseball bat at them and then tried to run them over with his vehicle.
Deputy Chad Williams located Albertson a short time later on Georgetown Road and interviewed him. After the interview, Albertson was arrested for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
Albertson was booked in the Brown County Jail on $11,500 cash bond.
