(BROWN CO.) - A Johnson County man wanted since the beginning of the year is behind bars in Brown County.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department received an anonymous tip on Thursday that 23-year-old Clinton Johnson, of Franklin, was hiding at a home in Brown County.
A press release from the department says the suspect was hiding out due to an arrest warrant out of Johnson County.
Brown County authorities confirmed the warrant, which stated that Johnson was wanted on a felony for failure to return to lawful detention.
Brown County Deputies arrived at a home on Three Story Hill Road and began a search of the residence, ultimately locating Johnson under a pile of clothing in a downstairs closet.
Johnson was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail to await transport back to the Johnson County Jail. Authorities say that Johnson has been in hiding since January.
