(UNDATED) - The deadline for hunters to apply for this year’s state park deer reduction hunts is Sunday.
Hunters must apply online by visiting Hunting.IN.gov and clicking on the "Reserved Hunt Info" link.
Paper applications are not available.
Among the state parks where gun-only deer reduction hunts are scheduled are Brown County, Lincoln, McCormick's Creek, Shades, Shakamak, Spring Mill, and Turkey Run.
There are two archery-only properties: Fort Harrison and Clifty Falls state parks.
