(BEDFORD) - Shawswick Volunteer Firefighters were called to the home on Sunny Acres Drive after a report the house was full of smoke.
According to Shawswick VFD Chief Bobby Brown, firefighters were alerted to the possible fire at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday after Amanda Lesiley, of 596 Sunny Acres Drive, called police.
A Rural Metro ambulance and TOPES also responded.
There was no fire.
"An electrical box to the air conditioning unit had shorted out and filled the house with smoke," Brown says. "There was no real damage. There was some heat on the outside of the house near the box."
Brown says a repairman was on the scene before firefighters left to take care of the problem.
