(MARTINSVILLE) - Five nurses were injured - one critically - Thursday afternoon after a golf cart crashed at Bradford Woods in Martinsville.
Bradford Woods is outdoor center owned by Indiana University. The nurses were there working for the camp.
Shay Dawson, director of Bradford Woods, says five nurses from area hospitals were riding in the cart. They were going down a paved road at the facility when it rolled onto its side and the nurses were thrown from the cart.
All of the nurses were taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, with one being transported by medical helicopter.
A hospital spokesperson says one patient was still undergoing treatment and another was in critical condition Thursday night.
The other four nurses were treated and released.
